This isn't my priority right now, but of course it would be nice to have
perl scripting fully supported by irssi-xmpp. Currently, everything that
isn't irssi-xmpp specific, should work with perl scripts. So some
basic events should work like "message private", "message public", and
many others... You should also be able to send messages to a jid.

But I have not tested these things.
