Irssi-xmpp supports the MUC extension (Multi-User Chats) with the
version in the CVS. Irssi-xmpp 0.13 does not supports MUC, but
irssi-xmpp 1.0 (which will be released this mounth) will support it.

So if you want MUC, check out the CVS or maybe there is a snapshot
version of irssi-xmpp packaged in your distribution.
