Re: [Irssi-xmpp-dev] Created a irssi-xmpp bzr mirror on launchpad

Well since I do not have time to develop on irssi-xmpp your word is the law...

I would like to hear your opinion why you don't want to use a modern version control system?
bzr will make it easier for other developers to contribute patches and fixes (while still letting you have control of the main repository), and it has quite a lot of advantages for you as lead developer... so I just find your standpoint surprising and would like to hear the reasoning?

Hi Mattias,

I'm sorry for the late reply, but I'm the only developer of irssi-xmpp
and I'm not interested by bzr neither by launchpad.

Yes, cvs is old but it works just fine and I wont move the official
repo.

And I'm sorry but I wont change my mind about it.

Cheers,

Colin
